The Catholic Diocese of Nebbi was erected by Pope John Paul II on 15th March 1996 with Rt. Rev John Baptist Odama
was confirmed as ordinary of Gulu on 22nd February 1990. He was installed as Bishop of Gulu on 12th April 1990. On 2nd January 1999, Bishop Martin Luluga was transferred to Nebbi Catholic Diocese. He was installed as Bishop of Nebbi Catholic Diocese on 18th April 1999.

He was born on 1st March 1933 at Lodonga Parish, Arua Diocese. Ordained priest on 1st June 1963. Ordained Auxiliary Bishop of Gulu on 11th January 1987. Became Administrator of Gulu in 1988 and MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE DIOCESE:
