Bishop Ordinary

The Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira was born on 16th April 1958 in Buryansungwe village Kitagwenda Parish, He was ordained a priest on 23rd September 1984 at Kitagwenda Parish in Fort Portal Diocese.

He was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Kasese on 15th April 2014 by His Holiness Pope Francis and was consecrated bishop on 12th July 2014 at Kasese Cathedral.

The Diocese of Kasese was erected on 01 st April 1989 from the Fort Portal Diocese by His Holiness Pope John Paul II. It was curved from the Diocese of Fort Portal to the whole of Kasese District.

The Rt. Rev. Egidio Nkaijanabwo

The Rt. Rev. Egidio Nkaijanobwo was born on 29th August 1935. He was ordained a priest on 28th May 1961 and appointed 1st Bishop of Kasese on 1st April 1989 by His Holiness Pope John Paul II and consecrated Bishop on 17th June 1989 at Kasese. He retired on 15th April 2014.
