It is with deep sorrow that we announce to you the death of Rev. Fr. Silvester Arinaitwe Rwomukubwe AJ, which occurred on Saturday 18th April 2025 at the Apostles of Jesus Spiritual Center (WOMESAM) in Jinja.
Fr. Silvester is a member of the Apostles of Jesus Religious Missionaries, and has been the Director of the above mentioned Spiritual Center. He originates from Kabale Diocese.

He is former Superior General of the Apostles of Jesus. He also served as the Secretary General of the Uganda Joint Christian Council.

- Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at 06.00pm - Requiem Mass at St. Peters Nsambya Parish
- Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 10.00am - Mass of Christian Burial at the Apostles of Jesus Lima Farm, Nnakaseeta, Nnakaseke Parish, Kasana-Luweero Diocese

We are assured by our Lord Jesus Christ: "I am the resurrection and the life... Whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live (John 11:25-26)"
